FORNASETTI WALL PLATE

My workshop today at MUJI was a success… I think! I’m trying not to overthink it, but I can’t help it. This time I contemplated whether it promoted “creativity” enough. It’s fine, I’m fine, everything is fine — I mean that. All 7 of the attendees wrote a lot in their gifted journals so I’m taking that as a sign. It was really cool that half of the guests found me on eventbrite and took a chance, and half already knew me online. I didn’t know what to do during the time I gave everyone to write. I suppose I could’ve walked around the table like a teacher in the classroom, but instead I just sat there awkwardly. It’s better that I pre-wrote my examples though, I just need to figure out what to do with this free time when I run the next one! During one of the exercises, one of the girls wrote a note across the page of her journal and held it up for us to read. It said: MY EX IS HERE. Hilarious. Random or fate? NO, it’s meaningless.

After the workshop ended, Eric met me at MUJI and we walked with loose aim to a coffee shop because we didn’t want to go home. We spend too much time in this little 800 sq foot box and we were on the same page/ vibe/ wavelength to stay outside a little longer. Almost like we were kids not wanting to go home for dinner. On our way, a bike gang (on bicycles) swarmed Nathan Phillips Square. This wasn’t any ordinary cycling crew though. These people were wild and free and letting it all hang out. They were BUTT ASS NAKED!!! Mostly men, but a few ladies too. When asked why they were doing this, they replied:

BECAUSE IT’S FUN!!!!
